No fireworks allowed
Fireworks may not be set off on the grounds of EuroParcs during the turn of the year, as well as for the rest of the year. On the public road outside the park, fireworks may be set off. You may experience some noise pollution from the area around the park, think residential areas nearby.
Indoor pool
Please note, the pool is closed until April 1st 2025
Swimming and holidays are inseparable. Here in Poort van Maastricht, that is absolutely fine. In the indoor swimming pool you can dive into the water or swim a few lengths. For the little ones, there is a separate paddling pool. Would you rather be active? Then take an aqua-jogging lesson or join in the water games organised by the entertainment team in high season.
The swimming pool will be closed from January till March. On April 1. the swimming pool will be open again.
Restaurant EuroParcs Poort van Maastricht
The cosy restaurant Bistro Berg is a lovely place for a cup of coffee with real Limburgse Vlaai, a nice drink, a cosy lunch or an extensive dinner. There is a varied menu with fish, meat and vegetarian dishes, pizza and a children's menu. There are also some takeaway options. In the early and late season, there are limited opening hours and a modified menu. In high season, reservations are required!
The restaurant will be closed from Sundag 2th of November till the 30th of November.
Maastricht
Cozy terraces, chic restaurants, art, caves and ancient city walls. Maastricht is a mix of past and present, various cultures and (Burgundian) flavours. That makes Maastricht a popular place for a shopping day or to discover local culture. Dive into the daves of Fort St. Pieter, the ENCI Quarry or the Kazematten. You can admire all the artworks in Limburg's art museum.
Valkenburg
Hidden away in the rolling South Limburg hills you will find the ancient marl town of Valkenburg. When you enter Valkenburg, you really feel as if you are going back in time. Discover the castle ruins, the Velvet Cave, the Roman Catacombs and the many marl caves that run around Valkenburg. In the historical center you can find many special boutiques and cozy terraces where you can wander around.
GaiaZoo
GaiaZoo has been voted the 'Best Day Out of the Netherlands' several times. This is because it is a unique zoo in the South Limburg hills. Here you can see animals from all over the world. You'll stand eye to eye with red pandas, zebras and giraffes, or you'll spot wolverines and gorillas. In the limburgHUIS you will discover endangered species from our own soil.
