EuroParcs Poort van Maastricht is easy to reach by car. The holiday park is located in the beautiful rolling hills of South Limburg, between Maastricht and Valkenburg aan de Geul. Its central location makes it the perfect base for exploring the region.

Parking is available near the accommodations and camping pitches. The number of available parking spaces may vary depending on the accommodation. Additional vehicles can be parked in the central parking areas on the park.

Please note that during busy holiday periods, traffic on the A2, A79, and roads around Maastricht, Valkenburg, and Berg en Terblijt may be heavier than usual. This will help you start your holiday well prepared.

Important Information During Your Stay

Despite all our efforts, there may occasionally be situations that require additional attention during your stay. We kindly ask you to report any complaints or remarks directly to the reception upon arrival so that we can resolve them as quickly as possible.

To provide you with the best possible service, please report any technical malfunctions, defects, or cleaning complaints directly to reception.

Arrival and Accommodation Check

We recommend checking your accommodation and inventory immediately after arrival. Missing items, damage, or cleaning issues should be reported to reception within 2 hours of arrival.

If any damage or defects occur during your stay, please inform reception as soon as possible.

Parking on the Park

One vehicle is permitted per accommodation or camping pitch. Additional vehicles must be registered and parked in the central parking area.

Charging electric vehicles at the accommodation or camping pitch is not permitted. Charging stations are available on the park.

The maximum speed throughout the park is 5 km/h.

Barrier Gates

The barrier gates are closed daily between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please take this into account when planning your arrival or departure.

Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available on the camping pitches and at various park facilities.

Network: Poort van Maastricht

In addition, every accommodation has its own private Wi-Fi network. The QR code can be found inside your accommodation.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome on the park and in pet-friendly accommodations.

Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and are not allowed on sports fields or playgrounds. There are plenty of opportunities to walk your dog outside the park.

A dog shower is available at camping area T3. The key can be borrowed from reception.

Visitors

Visitors are welcome at the park. We kindly ask that all visitors register at reception in advance.

A fee applies for both day visitors and overnight guests. Day visitors have access to the park between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM.

The main guest remains responsible for their visitors at all times.

Waste Disposal

Please separate your waste and dispose of it in the designated containers at the recycling area.

The recycling area is located opposite the swimming pool and is open daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Barbecues and Open Fires

Open fires are not permitted anywhere on the park.

Barbecues are allowed provided they are not placed directly on grass, verandas, or outdoor tables. For safety reasons, always keep a bucket of water nearby.

Public Transport

A bus stop is located directly in front of the park entrance, providing convenient connections to Maastricht and Valkenburg aan de Geul.

For the most up-to-date departure times, we recommend using a travel planner or public transport app.

Camping

Tents, caravans, and motorhomes must be placed at least 1.5 metres from the pitch boundaries and positioned parallel to the hedge.

Twin-axle caravans and large camping vehicles are not permitted on the park.

Additional tents up to 2 x 3 metres are allowed on camping pitches. Party tents are only permitted on camping pitches and may not exceed 3 x 3 metres.

Safety

Do not leave valuables unattended and make sure windows and doors are locked when leaving your accommodation.

For bicycles and e-bikes, we recommend using additional security measures such as a second lock.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in accommodations, public buildings, and catering facilities.

The possession, use, or trade of drugs is strictly prohibited throughout the park.

Quiet Hours

We kindly ask guests to respect the peace and quiet of the park between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

Playgrounds and sports fields are closed after 11:00 PM.

Electricity and Hot Water

Camping pitches are equipped with a 10 AMP electricity connection. Accommodations have a maximum capacity of 16 AMP.

Our accommodations are equipped with electric boilers. As a result, hot water may temporarily run out after extensive use and will need time to reheat.

Keys

Upon arrival, you will receive one key for your accommodation. An additional key may be available upon request at reception.

Replacement costs may be charged in the event of loss or damage.

Departure – Camping Pitches

Camping guests must vacate their pitch before 12:00 PM on the day of departure.

Please leave your pitch clean and tidy, dispose of waste at the recycling area, and check out at reception before leaving.

Check-in at EuroParcs Poort van Maastricht

Welcome to EuroParcs Poort van Maastricht, located in the beautiful rolling hills of South Limburg between Maastricht and Valkenburg aan de Geul.

The minimum age for check-in is 18 years.

For camping pitches, check-in is available from 1:00 PM. For accommodations, check-in is available from 4:00 PM until the reception closes.

If you expect to arrive after reception opening hours, please contact reception in advance so we can inform you about the available late-arrival options.

Would you like to start your holiday earlier? You can book an early check-in, allowing access to your accommodation from 1:00 PM. Early check-in can be added during the booking process. Please contact reception for availability or book it easily through your My EuroParcs account.

If you arrive outside reception opening hours, you can make use of a key safe. We kindly ask you to inform reception of your expected arrival time in advance to ensure a smooth arrival.

The key safe is located at the reception building. If applicable, you will receive the necessary instructions before arrival.

We recommend checking your accommodation and inventory immediately upon arrival for completeness and any damage. If you notice any issues regarding the inventory, cleanliness, or accommodation, please report them to reception within 2 hours of arrival.

Should any damage or defects occur during your stay, please inform reception as soon as possible so that we can assist you quickly and help make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Please Leave Your Accommodation Tidy

Before you leave, we kindly ask you to:

• Ensure that all dishes are clean and returned to their proper place.
• Dispose of your waste at the recycling area.
• Remove the bed linen from the beds and place it in a pillowcase.
• Check that you have not left any personal belongings behind.
• Close all windows and doors before departure.

Check-out

Check-out is on the day of departure before 10:00 AM.

If you are unable to check out via reception, please leave the key according to the instructions provided upon arrival or contact reception for assistance.

Camping Pitches

If you are staying on a camping pitch, we kindly ask you to vacate your pitch before 12:30 PM on the day of departure. Please leave the pitch clean and tidy and dispose of your waste in the designated containers at the recycling area.

Together we can ensure that the accommodations and camping pitches are clean and ready for the next guests.

You can indicate your arrival time via the EuroParcs app or via e-mail. If you arrive outside our opening hours, you will receive an email from our reception with all the information about the safe and the code, in which your key will be. We also need to know your license plate number to open the barrier.

Winter camping is possible at Poort van Maastricht, so you can enjoy beautiful Maastricht during the winter too. During the winter period, the water on the site is turned off due to the cold and only Sanitary Building 1 is open.
