Looking for a pet-friendly place to stay? You’ve found it! From our vacation park near Valkenburg , you and your dog can stroll right into the rolling hills. A true paradise full of new scents and challenging trails. Since the best walks are often the muddiest, we’ve set up a special dog shower on the campground. Come stay on one of our spacious campsites or in one of our cottages with a fenced-in porch.

The Best Hiking Trails from Our Park

From our park in Berg en Terblijt, you can walk right into nature. Thanks to the wooded Geulhemmerberg just around the corner and the Bemelerberg across the way, the area surrounding our vacation park in South Limburg is a true paradise for you and your dog!

Our tips:

    Ingendael Nature Reserve (The Geul Valley)

    This beautiful, relatively flat nature reserve is located near Houthem St. Gerlach. Here, you can walk right through the grasslands and right alongside the babbling Geul River. Perfect for dogs who love to dip their paws in the water!

    The Bemelerberg

    Want to experience the true Limburg hills? Then the Bemelerberg is a fantastic choice. Here, you’ll walk past impressive marl cliffs and across limestone grasslands. A challenging but beautiful hike with amazing views.

    St. Pietersberg (Maastricht)

    Take a walk up the mountain and enjoy the view of Maastricht. Tip: Although most of the Sint-Pietersberg is a leash-required area, there’s also a large dog park here where your dog can run and play to its heart’s content with other dogs.

Unleash your dog, lift those paws!

After hours of hiking through the rolling hills, it’s time to relax. Settle in at your own spacious 90 m² camping or RV site. Thanks to the ample space, your dog can stretch out comfortably, and with a private water hookup right on the site, thirst is quenched in no time. At our vacation park in South Limburg, where dogs are welcome, you’ll also find fully furnished chalets, charming tiny houses, and rugged glamping tents. An extra bonus: some of our cottages feature a fenced-in porch. That way, your four-legged friend can safely explore the outdoors!

What previous guests asked us

Does my dog need to be on a leash at the park?

Dogsmust be kept on a leash throughout the entire park. Dogs are not allowed on sports fields or in playgrounds. There are plenty of places outside the park where you can walk your dog.

Where can you find the dog shower at the park?

The dog shower is located on theT3 campground at . The key is available at the front desk. Tip: On hot days, your dog can also cool off in the Kleine Geul stream, near the Geulhemermolen.

Is your park a fireworks-free zone?

Yes, EuroParcs Poort van Maastricht is a fireworks-free park. Setting off fireworks on the park grounds is not permitted.
